Welcome! Clarity Speech and Language Therapy, LLC, provides speech and language therapy for a variety of ages and needs.  Whether your concern is articulation, reading, orofacial myofunction disorders(OMD), or stuttering, Clarity is here to help.  Working within the framework of each client's support system, Clarity can provide assessment and treatment to help them move forward, both educationally and socially.

Some of Our Services

Articulation therapy addresses errors in the production of speech sounds. A target sound is worked on either alone or alongside similar sounds (like s and z). Once a sound is corrected in isolation, therapy progresses through production at syllable, word, phrase, sentence, and conversation levels.
Stuttering/fluency therapy is best when administered as a dynamic and responsive collaboration between the therapist and client. Giving clients  agency, as they explore and evaluate various therapy modalities, helps them learn the tools needed for increased fluency and/or increased confidence in their communication abilities. The ultimate goal is for the client to be able to say what they want to say, without avoidance, substitution, or unnecessary stress.  
Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders can have a wide range of impacts, including but not limited to: articulation, feeding skills, posture, dental and skeletal development, sleep and behavioral issues.  If you suspect an OMD, or have been told that your child has an open bite/underbite/cross-bite, a tongue-tie, open-mouth breathing and/or an oral habit like thumbsucking or nailbiting, we can help.
