I have been a practicing Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia since early 2011. I graduated from Rutgers College with a B.A. in Psychology and later completed my graduate work at William Paterson University, where I received an M.S. in Communication Disorders. I gained valuable experience during my externships at the outpatient neuro unit of Helen Hayes Rehabilitation Hospital in New York, and in a preschool and kindergarten program for hearing-impaired children in northern Bergen County, NJ. Since graduation, I have worked in private practice settings, providing in-home, in-office and school-based therapy, while continuing my professional education in multiple domains. I opened my own practice in 2016 with the goal of providing quality therapy services to our community. In 2019, I opened my office at 225 N. Washington Street in Old Town Alexandria.
In addition to my Master's level coursework, I have specialized continuing education training in several areas, including early childhood speech and language (Kaufman’s Speech to Language) and orofacial myofunctional therapy (SimonSays). I enjoy working with clients of all ages, from nonverbal toddlers to older adults with acquired communication disorders. As owner and therapist at Clarity Speech and Language Therapy, LLC, I provide therapy services at my office on N. Washington Street in Old Town Alexandria.
